Tarron Boon: Absolutely terrible experiences all round with dealing with this shambolic company!
We actually love alot of their products, they suited our business ethos of natural decor, so when we found out the main UK wholesaler had cut ties with them, we reached out to Namiba Terra to forge our own links.
In hindsight, we should have known the wholesaler stopped buying their stuff for a reason!
Initially all seemed well, they were quick to respond to our requests for price lists and setting up accounts. Then we made our first payment.
As this was the first payment to an overseas company, we requested confirmation from them as soon as we sent money, so we could iron out any issues quickly.
It took a couple of emails, over a week or so to actually get told they had received the money. Then, after another couple of weeks, we thought it odd we hadn't had a dispatch notice and nothing had arrived, so away we went to find out what was going on.
Eventually, after numerous emails and facebook PMs, we found out they were waiting on getting moss in for one of the products.
Willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, we waited. A week or so later, a parcel turned up. Not even half of the order. But we all know what the postal system is like, so we sat back thinking the rest was coming.
After some time, we tried to get hold of them again (by the way, they NEVER answer the phone, this is the one and only time they did). We were told they were aware of some of the order going missing in the warehouse and ensured us it would be sent out asap. Thanks for the quick email to let us know, I guess that was lost in the warehouse too??
After some more time, and a few more emails, another parcel arrived. Odd though, as it was still missing lots of items.
We are now about 2 to 3 months since placing the order and getting very annoyed, but being the typical Brit, we kept our patience.
Multiple emails, phone calls and PMs went unanswered, so a message was left on their facebook page.
Ah!! So this is how we get them to respond. Yet more missing parcels in the warehouse apparently, they will get a new parcel out on Monday!
At this point you are probably thinking, this guys an idiot, getting the run around but keeps cutting them some slack. You're right of course, but we really wanted the products.
Another week or so passed with no parcel som phone calls, emails and PMs sent with the obligatory annoyed message on their page to ensure they responded, demanding a refund of the missing items.
More promises the parcel is on the way, it will be with you soon, blah blah blah. But also they decided to block me on facebook, so i was unable to message them any more!
Now i was getting extremely annoyed so i continued to demand our money back. Eventually, they caved and promised to refund us asap. However, we had to send even more messages to push this onwards from my wifes account.
Eventually we received a credit note showing how much we would be refunded. The owner PM'd my wife (after more facebook posts) asking for our bank details.
These were sent immediately, after which my wife was blocked too.
As it stands we still do not have our money, and are losing out daily due to exchange rates. We have resorted to fake facebook accounts just to push on and demand this be resolved immediately.
Never use them!! Just, ever!
